- The Air Force brought my family to the gulf coast in the early 1970's. I started fishing the local piers as a teenager in the early 80's. I purchased my first boat at 25 and have fished the local waters ever since. As a fisherman I like to get an early start, a live well full of bait and set out with a plan, taking advantage of any opportunities that develop along the way.
