As a young man, he joined the US Navy, and traveled the world learning about seamanship. After graduating from university, Capt Juan set up Beats Land Charters. Capt Juan is currently the Florida Sportsman Magazine weekend fishing forecaster for the Florida Keys backcountry and has been featured in the Florida Sportsman TV show and Florida Sportsman Magazine.
Techniques
I do enjoy all types of fishing but my favorite is live bait fishing the wrecks and reefs. Also deep dropping if I’m looking for some fish to eat.
