I booked this trip to get out into the ocean with my father and wife and try to catch some fish. None of us had ever fished in the ocean, and to say we had no idea what we were doing is an understatement.. However, the boys got us out on the water and put us on the fish! The patience of this team is worth noting, and the ability to teach some novices how things are done in the span of a few hours is very impressive! We had an amazing time, caught a bunch of fish, and crossed an item from our bucket lists. If you drink, ask about the “slippery mackerel” - you won’t regret it!

Most of our catches were out of season, but that’s okay. That’s a matter of timing and no fault to the team. Getting them hooked and into the boat, albeit temporarily, was well worth the price of the trip!

An amazing experience none of us will soon forget. I can’t recommend these guys enough. If you’re thinking about it - just do it. It’s worth it!

We attended this as a family trip, my boyfriend, my daughter, her friend (both teenage girls) and I. Jason was very helpful and eager to make sure we were catching fish. Sometimes he was more enthusiastic than us when we did catch fish which made it entertaining to listen to him. It was a bit choppy today and my daughter was nervous to grab onto something scared she was going to break it and Jason told her “everything in here is replaceable, while you are not” which was incredibly mindful. He was easy to talk to as was Captain J. My daughter and her friend aren’t ones for fishing so they decided to sit with the Captain. The two played games which he was willing to participate and joke along with them. My daughter had a camera, so her and her friend were constantly looking for things such as dolphins and every time he saw one he made sure to announce it. Both are easy to talk to and made you feel comfortable no matter if you’re interested in the fishing or not. Overall this was a great experience and we would definitely choose Captain J Charters and Jason again.

My family and I had an amazing time fishing! The Captain and his crewmember was very friendly and made our experience wonderful. The boat was roomy which made it comfortable during our time fishing with 6 us. We were able to catch a nice amount of fish and that made the trip most memorable! I would definitely re book another trip with them on our future fishing trips during vacation. An extra plus was the below deck bathroom for the long day! We owe them a big thank you for making it a wonderful trip!

Had the absolute best time out on the water today with Captain J and his deckhand Jason! From the moment we stepped on the boat, they made the trip feel fun, relaxed, and super personal. It was peaceful, easygoing, and just what we needed — plus, we caught plenty of fish!

Captain J and Jason were both so friendly and genuine, it felt like fishing with old friends. This was the perfect birthday gift and such a memorable experience. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a good time and great vibes on the water!

Any day on the water is better than a day at the office! We didn’t catch a whole lot of fish but not due to the captain.  Started out as a pretty nice day and then turned into a stormy one.  Had to come in a little early which was alright with me because I was semi- sea sick the whole trip. I would recommend Captain Jamey and his deckhand Jason all day, everyday!  Great guys!
