I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed fishing with Capt. Regina and her Mate Eric.  I think the 3/4 Day Trip is nearly perfect for a family.  Let’s face it- not every family member is an avid fisherman, and Size Matters charter combined a great day fishing with a high level of patience and entertainment so my whole family had a great day on the water.  First- we hit the reef for yellowtail snapper which the kids loved.  Mate Eric helped the kids learn their skills in dropping the bait, recognizing the bite, and getting the fish to the boat.  Then we trolled deeper blue water and got a good amount of mahi mahi and a tuna- great fun.  We then tried deep dropping.  Three types of fishing in one trip!  Capped off with a massive hammerhead sighting and a sea turtle blessing!

Great Captain, great Mate, great boat, and great equipment!  We’d do this again any time!

I’ve been to Islamorada several times for fishing and was reluctant to book with a new captain when my normal captain unfortunately was unavailable. However, Regina and her first mate were absolutely amazing! My wife had never experienced off shore fishing in the ocean though I have been many times and Regina and crew made her feel so comfortable! We caught lots of fish like yellow tail to have cooked to our liking at the resort but my biggest catch was the beautiful shark in the video I’m posting. Regina goes above and beyond to accommodate passengers! At the end of the charter she gives you a tshirt or sunshirt with her size matters logo as a final awesome touch! I can’t wait to come back again and fish with “Size Matters!!!!!!!” 100% recommend snagging Regina if you can!!!

We had a great experience fishing as a family. There are 5 of us and had plenty of room on the boat to accommodate us all fishing. We all caught plenty of fish and our youngest boy even caught a nurse shark, which made his day. Had enough fish to take to the hungry tarpon resteraunt to have it cooked several ways to end the day. Great experience, and wouldn’t hesitate to book again for a great family trip.

We had an amazing time with Captain Regina! Her boat was comfortable and roomy enough that we could all spread out and fish off the side. She was extremely knowledgeable about the keys, water movement, and the types of fish and their behavior. She was a great teacher and was patient with us when sneaky fish stole our bait. It was all about having a good time on the water. It was good vibes all around all day!

Booked with the captain and crew before the past years, always put my friends and I on the fishes everytime. She really worked hard trying out different spots with changing tide conditions etc.
We went shallow and deep,get a cooler full of large Yellowtails and othere nice game fish.  We give up a few big one to Mr Sharks.
Nice clean boat and a happy crew.  We will be back.
