Techniques: Here at 3G Fishing Charters we bottom fish and fish on top. To be successful offshore you have to be able to adapt and use both types of fishing. We will drift, troll, chum, and fish on bottom for the offshore fish.

The month of May is a great time to catch Monster Redfish. Yesterdays trip was amazing. We caught 15 Bull Redfish over 30 pounds. I couldn’t say “Fish On” enough.

Purchased shark fishing trip. It started fishing for bait fish, which is the reason it is 2 star overall instead of 1 star, because it was the most fun part of the trip. The captain got the anchor stuck and spent more than 30 minutes trying to pull it free from the jetty (30 minutes of our time that we did not get to fish and did not get back). I’m sorry we were not able to catch any sharks. The wind was blowing 25 mph which forced us to stay in the bay and channel. Sorry we couldn’t get to the shark fishing area. We can’t control Mother Nature. Come back anytime and we can give it another shot.

Sorry I would disagree with all this. The bite was slow and your mad about that. I’m sorry but we can not control the weather and how the fish bites. You booked a 1/2 day bay and jetty trip and we fished at the bay and jettys. And yes there is a gps on the boat and you saw it. We fish in front of that restaurant and catch flounder and Sheephead. It’s a great spot. We moved multiple times trying to find fish. Thank you for the 1.7 Star review. The boat is 5 stars and so is the crew. I’m sorry we didn’t catch fish but there is no guarantee in fishing. We have over 300 (5) star reviews and a less than 5, 1 star reviews. Sorry again for the fish not biting but I am not sorry for anything else. We did our job and did it well.

Weather was bad to go to the Jetty. Not their fault. Regardless, the equipment was as basic as it gets for spinning gear and the boat had no equipment at all. The guide basically would put a new hook on and get you a shrimp. No desire to help other then run the boat. I would look for another outfit.

Hey Paul, We suggested you reschedule because of the weather. You said you had to go that was your only opportunity because you were flying back out to Wyoming. We said the cold front had the winds way to high to go out and we should cancel. You said no you didn’t care, please could we take you.
