- Captain Bryan (Bud) Winn Captain Bud has been fishing since he was old enough to hold a fishing pole and has spent countless hours on the water. With nearly a decade of Lake Michigan experience, he has won multiple tournaments and taken many top 10 finishes as well. He began fishing the port of Muskegon as a first mate on a charter boat and fell in love with trolling Lake Michigan as so many of us do. After a few years of being a first mate, it was time for him to move on and buy his own boat. He moved to the port of South Haven as it was closer to his hometown and began learning from the local captains all about this new port and where the fish tend to roam toward the south end of the lake. In 2019 Captain Bud obtained his USCG Master 25 Ton Captain’s license and began running charters on some of the local captain’s boats. He fell in love with the 31 ft Open Tiara and had to have one of his own. In 2021 that dream came true and he has been continuing to hone his craft every day that he’s on the water to make your trip that much more fun and exciting.
