Captain Matt & the entire Slacktide crew are true professionals. Communication from booking onward was great!
We started the day off quickly as his state of the art boat was able to get us to the deep sea fishing area in only about 25 min! In comparison, some other charters leaving the dock at the same time us arrived 30+ min after … this definitely made a huge difference as we were already baited by the time the other boats arrived and actually accidentally snagged a 200lb thresher shark within first 15 min of dropping our tuna lines!

On other charters we have been on there was a lot of sit around and wait, on the slacktide captain Matt kept us entertained with catching bait throughout. When it was time for a rest the boat is so comfortable and actually can convert to a bed to lay down for a little ! This was amazing for a long day out on the water. There’s plenty of storage and cooler space as well !

On the way back we caught some solid size haddock that the captain filleted and packaged for us to take home - this was awesome !!

There’s no better charter in Boston area than the Slacktide!!

I couldnt be happier with my experience on SlackTide! Captain Matt Marino was extremely knowledgeable about where to find fish and his kindness and patience was beyond appreciated. His boat was equipped with the latest technology and was kept very tidy. I didnt know much about locations to fish but having his expertise allowed my family and I to take home some beautiful fish. We each caught plenty of fish and even caught a beautiful tuna. Of the fish which we were able to keep, Matt filleted for us and his recipes were absolutely delicious! Not only did Matt know exactly where to drop our lines but he also knew quite about about how to cook our fish which resulted in a delicious meal for my family and I. My experience couldn’t have been better and i really appreciated how attentive he was with advising us how to reel in what was on our line. Additionally, not only did he have all the necessary safety equipment but he even took the time to explain what to do in each scenario. Clean boat, extremely knowledgeable fisherman and a kind instructor. Never in my life have I had such a positive experience. I couldnt recommend a fishing trip more than one with Slacktide. I will definitely be fishing with Captain Matt again.

The Slacktide had everything we could have wished for during our charter from the amount of space to fish, the speed to get us out to the fishing grounds, and the comfort we felt knowing the captain had a handle on the boat. If you’re looking for a charter where you’ll have fun, catch fish, and make some really cool memories I recommend booking before they fill up. Captain Matty even let my buddy play his music the whole time we were out! 5/5 stars

We travelled from Delaware and decided to book a charter through slack tide, and it was the best decision ever. The captain was phenomenal he was out going, had everything ready, baited, and put us on the fish.

Captain Matt was fantastic and the boat was beautiful. We caught a lot of fish and he was right there to assist us. We also saw quite a few whales - great Father’s Day trip for my husband and kids.
