Captain Martinez was well prepared with various types of fishing poles, gear, and live bait.  His boat was clean and comfortable and easily accommodated my party of three.  From the get go he put us on the fish, most of the time we were getting bites as soon as the bait touched the water.  We had the opportunity to stop at a marina to stretch our legs, use the restroom, and buy snacks if we wanted, Captain Martinez did not count this time against us.  After that we were right back on the fish, catching different species.  My son caught the biggest fish of his life, and he later told me that this was his best fishing experience.  I believe he said he caught 37 fish.  This was definitely a great fishing trip, Captain Martinez communicated with me before the trip, answered all questions, and made us all feel comfortable while we were with him.  I look forward to booking with Captain Martinez again, the only downside is you may get a slight case of arthritis from reeling in so many fish.

My son and I went out with Captain Martinez and it was a great experience. From the moment we got to the boat He made sure that we had a terrific trip. He put us on the fish, shared helpful tips, and was always ready with a new rig or the landing net. Plus he is just a fun Captain to fish with.
If you’re looking to fish in Galveston Bay, I would definitely recommend Captain Martinez.

We booked an October fishing trip and had a great time. We caught a few Bull Redfish as well as several other varieties. Rolando took the time and made the effort to make sure we had a great time. Everything was top notch, the boat, the equipment, and the captain was very personable. Do not hesitate to book a trip with him, just book it. We will be back to do it again.

I booked a bay/jetty trip with Capt. Martinez for my 10yr old and his buddy. Both their first times. Water was a little rougher than expected but Capt Martinez was great navigating the waters and making sure the kiddos felt safe. He went above and beyond at making sure he put them on some fish and making their trip a success. Highly Recommend!

You always hear stories about those magical fishing trips where the fish gods smile on you—this was one of those days. We only had to stop at one spot, and it produced all day long. As the tide went out and the heat kicked in, the fish just kept biting!

We caught a variety of species: speckled trout, bull reds, black mullet, sheepshead, and many more. It was nonstop action, and we couldn’t have asked for a better time—or a better captain. Highly recommend!
