Juvenile Tarpon Everywhere!

I took these two young anglers out for a half day of tarpon fishing and tge action was non stop. After a big rain, tge runoff creates a feeding frenzy and tarpon in the 10-15 lb range become abundant!

We’ve e been hooking wahoo nearly every trip during this full moon phase. Most fish are in the 15-30 lb range with a few bigger fish mixed in. Fun fishing only a mile off the beach!

This time of year the wahoo take center stage along the dropoff we fish only 15 minutes after leaving the dock! High speed trolling with bonito strips has been the best option for this fishery, and our bycatch includes sailfish, mahi mahi, kingfish, barracuda, and bonito.

We had this trip planned for over a month and travelled from Tennessee and Alabama. This trip was the best. We caught fish right off the bat. All of us caught and had a great time, caption and first mate we’re very courteous and knowledgeable and we had a great time. We’ll definitely plan another adventure with Fish Envy!! My brother and I book this to celebrate Father’s Day while on vacation in Boca Ratón, The overall trip was ok, I was a little disappointed that we spent 2 out of the four hours catching bait fish, I was under the impression this will all be ready to go once we boarded the boat , the weather was not so great so we had to do inshore fishing for the same price , on the positive the captain was very nice and professional , the boat was clean and spacious. Thanks For the trip Byron. One thing I would like to point out is that we were using our live bait within 10 minutes of leaving the dock. We spent 2 hours catching extra live bait while we were fishing with the ones in our baitwell. So we were not, in fact, only bait fishing for 2 hours. Also, I gave you guys an extra hour of fishing (7:30-12:30) because the bite was so slow.
