The captain Scott was professional, pleasantly chatty, prepared and more than accommodating on our first time booking a charter. I and the other two in our group would highly recommend booking his services again. We caught 9 sheepshead on the day. Solid price, solid experience, 10 out of 10, 5 out of 5 stars. It was a fantastic decision for all involved. We went for a 4 hour trip on Jan 4th 2026.

Scott got us on the fish on the first cast. He was very knowledgeable about the area, including the birds and the fish that we saw. We had ages ranging from 21 to 69, and everyone had a great time. Scott even took pictures for us without being asked, which all of the women back home enjoyed. We all felt like Scott was very accommodating and would definitely book with him again!

My husband, our friend, and I spent 6 hours on the water with Captain Scott today and had a great time. We caught Red Snapper, Trigger Fish, Red Fish, and two Jack Crevalles! Scott was incredibly knowledgeable and a great guide. He provided tons of great insight for fishing along the Gulf Coast. Will definitely book with Whistlin Waters again!

Scott is fantastic, a Gulf Shores native he has been fishing the Gulf of America and Mobile Bay his entire life as such you get the added bonus of local knowledge and stories and secret fishing holes. We took the 4 hour afternoon inshore/nearshore trip. Three adults and one 10 year old. Captain Scott was great. The boat was in good condition. It has a new trolling motor that keeps the boat from drifting. After a 20 minute ride, we were reeling in red snapper just as fast as he could bait our hooks. We caught our limit (plus a bonus mangrove snapper) and headed over to catch a few Spanish mackerel. We will definitely be calling Captain Scott the next time we are in Fort Morgan.
