- Captain Jeff Keen grew up in Holland fishing the waters of Lake Michigan. Before he became a captain in 2013, Jeff worked as a first mate for various local charter captains. During the offseason, he works as a teacher and coach at a local high school. Interacting with all ages, teaching, engaging people in learning, and sharing his passion for the outdoors is something Jeff truly loves. He has been married for over 13 years and is a proud father of 3 daughters. He says, “I became the captain of SuFISHient Charters because I want to share my passion for fishing the great lakes with others. We have the greatest fishery in the world here in Michigan and I want others to be able to experience it as well.”

- Our preferred technique is trolling for Chinook Salmon, Lake Trout, Steelhead, Brown Trout, and Coho Salmon.
