- Hello, my name is Capt. James Bertrand. I will make sure you, your friends and family have a fun day of fishing and enjoy all the natural beauty of the Orange Beach, Gulf Shores, Alabama and Perdido Key and Pensacola, Florida areas. We really do live in paradise and I will share with you all the things I love about OBA. I have been fishing and boating my entire life. I was born in Louisiana, so that means I was born with a fishing license tied to my toes! We offer a variety of fishing trips that are perfectly suited to anglers of all ages and abilities! As for the species on offer, get ready to come face-to-gills with anything from the elusive “Cobia” to the “Amberjack” more commonly known as the “Reef Donkey” when you hook up on one of these bad boys, you will quickly understand the reason behind the nickname. Vermillion, Lane and Mangrove Snapper are also on the A list, as well as Triggerfish, Grouper and of course the famous Red Snapper that this area has become well known for!
- Techniques
- I enjoy bottom fishing and trolling for pelagic species offshore. I also enjoy fishing the flats for inshore species.
