My friend William and I had great day with Scott, catching fish, watching whales and sea otters.  I would recommend Scott and Emerald Sea Adventures to anyone visiting Port Hardy or Coal Harbour.  We caught silver salmon, halibut, lingcod, and rockfish!  I really appreciated that after catching two wild silvers in 5 minutes, Scott suggested we celebrate with a nice cup of coffee.  My friend William from Belgium had never fished and he caught several fish and got to see whales!

Just back after my best fishing trip, ever. Caught my 1st halibut, biggest chinook so far, different kinds of rockfish and a ling cod too big for me to handle by myself. The wildlife was another great part, with lots of whales, some porpoise, otters and many eagles. Captain Scott is very knowledgeable on the area and I highly recommend spending some time on the water with him. I’ll definitely be back next year.

My wife and I had a great fishing trip with Scott.  Scott’s boat is perfect for the North Island, it was comfortable and it felt safe in the open water past the Island. During the trip Scott got us into a variety of fish and the action started quickly.  Scott is an easy guy to get on with and our time on the water together was really enjoyable.  

Captain Scott is very courteous and patient. He is very aware of his clients interests and abilities. He is very personable and professional. He helps with everything and shares his experiences (and coffee) and put us at ease with calm demeanor. We caught three great salmon, and he helped us clean them. We will definitely book with Captain Scott again!

Scott was an excellent knowledgeable captain. He knew exactly where to go to get us into the fish that we were hoping for. The boat was super comfy and very nice he was very good at explaining everything and got us in to our limit for lingcod and just 1 short of our limit for salmon. Would recommend forsure
