We had an absolutely incredible fishing trip with Captain Devonte and Mate Jaydin. From the moment we stepped on the boat, they were professional, welcoming, and genuinely kind. What really stood out was how amazing they were with my 8- and 10-year-olds. While I was in the water spearfishing, they made sure the boys felt I was safe, especially when one of them got a little nervous. They were patient, encouraging, and completely attentive the entire time.

They didn’t just let us fish, they created an experience. They took the time to help the boys learn, celebrate their catches, and stay engaged. It never felt rushed. It felt like they genuinely cared that our family had a great day.

And then there was the food. Relaxing in a calm cove while they prepared what we had just caught was beyond anything we could have reasonably expected. It was unbelievably fresh, perfectly cooked, and honestly one of the best meals of our trip. Sitting there, eating that fresh catch with the kids, was a perfect moment.

I cannot recommend Captain Devonte and Mate Jaydin highly enough. If we are lucky enough to come back, we will absolutely be booking with them again. An unforgettable experience from start to finish.

Our family had a great time despite rough waters. We were in port on a cruise for the day. Captain Devante and Jaiden were lovely! They picked us up right next to the cruise port. They were so great with our kids and were so knowledgeable about the harbor and islands we fished around. Jaiden gave us a wonderful tour of the harbor. After fishing we went to see the sea turtles and a snorkel. It was a great way to spend the day in Nassau with a wonderful crew. I would highly recommend Cozy Waters to anyone wanting to fish, see sea life or snorkel in Nassau!

I’m from Texas and I’ve been on lot’s of chartered fishing trips but, this one was one to remember!!  Me and another one of my friends went on this trip with Cozy Waters Fishing Charter, the Captin and Crew Helper were both great, we caught all kinds of fish from Red Snapper, Barracuda, Grunt, Parrot Fish, and More!  The Captin was the Sun Of Captin Sanders and His friend was our Crew Help. We had the best trip I have ever had fishing!  They also Cooked A “Great Lunch, (Fish Stew!!) from some of the fish thay we had caught “Fresh” from the water that day!!  It was A Great All Day Trip, I would recommend the “Highly” If you want to have A Good fishing experience!!  K.B.

A fishing experience was the top to do for our 20-something son.  This experience checked the box in all respects.

The crew made this experience - the attempt to get a super big fish with trolling.  When that did not get any bites they switched to bottom fishing and we caught at least 8 fish of a large variety.  Tasty fish stew for lunch and got us back safely watching the clouds for incoming rain.  Great experience.

We were skeptical about this trip because it was chilly and VERY windy making for very rough waters.  Captain Devante (sp?) and First Mate Jaiden made us very comfortable and took us to spots which nearly guaranteed we all caught fish.  From Strawberry Grouper to “Grunt” to Sheep’s Head, the fishing did not disappoint.  The delicious stew that was cooked at the end of our trip was delicious!  We really enjoyed that we were able to bait our own hooks and manage our catch as best as possible.  Of course, the crew was willing to help, if necessary!  What a fun day!
