I have fished at different locations around the world, and I can certainly say these were the best two trips I’ve had. Species caught included yellow fin tuna,barracuda,sailfish,mahi-mahi,(big bull),rock snapper,cubera snapper(very big). All in all,these were two very memorable experiences. It was just my wife and I and by no means are we experienced. Rainy season in CR and we didn’t know what to expect. Captain and crew put us on fish immediately! we initially caught a small yellowfin keeper and a number of small black tuna that we used for live but. Caught100 pound sailfish. Then hooked and landed a 60-70 pound yellowfin!  While fighting that yellowfin, we hooked into another sailfish. Incredible!!  The other charters in the area were not as productive. went out for an afternoon deep sea trip to catch some marlin and it did not disappoint! we caught two 400 lb marlin and two mahi mahi in about 4 hours of fishing. during the breaks in the action we got fresh fruit, fresh coconut water, and even got to eat some mahi we caught. definitely take a trip with costa catch! (also if you want to buy a shirt or hat ask ahead of time)

Family of four, Mom, Dad, daughter (17) and son (14), we had an amazing fishing afternoon with Marco and Guillermo, they know their stuff really well and put us on fish right away! We told them a few species we hoped to catch and they put their knowledge of the area and techniques to work! We caught and released 2 Sailfish, we also caught 2 Dorado, 1 Wahoo, 1 Yellowtail tuna and 3 White tuna (albacore). They made us tuna ceviche on board which was amazing, filet the fish to take with us and overall... Meer

We had an excellent time and greatly enjoyed everything with Captain Marco and First Mate Nelson. The weather was a bit choppy and the fish were hiding but the three large Sailfish we caught were all beautiful! The additional sights during the trip (whales, dolphins, a shark, sea turtles, flying fish, and more) were pretty incredible and the Yellowfin that we had for lunch was fantastic. We absolutely recommend without any hesitation and if in the area again will definitely book again!
