I have booked fishing in la Paz three times. evertime its been great but i do want to point out that i was charged for some extras wich I wasn’t expecting. we had to pay for mexican fishing license and bait for a total of $150 usd. Understanding the fees I feel like no one likes surprises so be advised when you book the trip. besides the fees everything was as expected and had a good time. hope this helps other to pick there trips wisely.

Organizing this trip from the US was simple and made convenient by the guide initiating communication almost immediately. Once in town, I met our guide a couple of days before our trip to arrange fishing licenses for my group. On the day of the trip, finding the meeting spot was easy. Alejandro knows his business well. Took 7 of us out on the boat by himself. We quickly caught some bait fish and then he took us by to grab some sardines to help chum the waters. When we arrived out to the spot, there were many other boats around fishing. We drove around a little bit looking for the right spot and once we did, boom! My 14 year old son is a seasoned fisherman and they catered to his wishes and the fish he wanted to target. The boat was spacious and clean and our guide Franki was amazing. We caught 3 big Mahi Mahi! It was a perfect day of fishing. We will book again next time we come to La Paz.
