- Starting out on the half/full day open party boats in So. Cal. in my early teens it didn't take long to realize fishing was going to be a career choice! Working my way up to the long range fleet fishing farther south of the border catching giant yellowfin, wahoo and marlin the blue water, big game fishing addiction was set in stone. Late in 1989 the decision was made to move to Kona Hi. the blue marlin capital of the world where I've lived for 35 years - commercial fishing the offshore seamounts many years before starting a family and wanting to spend time closer to home charter fishing. The reward of charter fishing over the years has been great, seeing newcomers to the sport as well as seasoned anglers catch the fish of their dreams but its the next generation of junior anglers catching their first gamefish that's most enjoyable!!
