From the time we arrived, to the time we got off the boat, the crew and captain took care of everything. Come drinks and snacks were waiting for us. And the fishing was fantastic. I booked this fishing charter for some time with my son’s and it was awesome. The fish were biting and we had many times when there were two fish at the same time. We will definitely be back!

It was a choppy day so we were upgraded to the larger Samaki II vessel for free. I would recommend the 6 or 8 hour trip if going after the big sportfish species. It’s about an hour and half or so to the spot to start fishing. Overall was a great experience. We had several exciting hits from sailfish that didn’t hook up, but then we were able to make it happen with a great fish at the tail end of the day. My friend and I spent the day fishing with Samaki charters had an excellent day of fishing. We caught sailfish barracuda, and bonito. The captain and deckhand were both very good at their jobs and had us on good fish most of the day. I recommend the 8 hour trip so you have enough time to go out after trophy fish.we caught two trophy sailfish and really nice barracuda. Owner/Captain Enrique is very accommodating! We could not understand the conversation rate but he told us that off we are more comfortable then we can Zelle him. Capt of the boat for us was Eliseo and his deck hand was Oliver, they were both great! Water was very very choppy. We spent an hour in the deep, 8 Bonito’s later, Capt Eliseo felt sorry for us so he took us out to shallow areas to go after smaller fish. Caught a bunch of barracuda in the shallows. El Capitan Pollo and his crew were very accommodating and gave us a fun day. In 6 hours we pulled in close to 20 fish. There were plenty of drinks and snacks for the whole trip and they made sure we were happy. The crew was working hard the whole time to make sure we filled the fish box. I highly recommend fishing with the Samaki crew.
