Jorge and crew do an awesome job.  Have been fishing with Rusty Hook for a long time.  Always have fun and catch fish.  Highly recommend!

We went out for 4 hours caught a couple fish.  Crew were nice and we enjoyed our trip.  Thanks for the Beer!

We booked a 1/2 day and were hoping for a big fish miracle.  Alas it was not to be.  The captain and crewman were great and professional.  The boat is very nice,  clean and comfortable.  We went out trolling for big dogs and got not bites.  Then went in towards shore and caught a couple of small “trash” fish so at least we had dinner.  Not sure if longer trip would have made a difference?  I think regrettably the fish just weren’t biting that day.  Other boats weren’t catching either.  A bad day fishing is still a better day than a day at the office so still happy overall.  Will try again another day and would happily do it on their boat.

en cuanto llegue el capitan ya tenia a su tripulacion, el barco en la aia preparado Asta 15 minutos temprano.. me gusto eso, super Profesionales y listos.

en cuanto me subi ya tenian la hielera listo con aguas y cervesas, yo me compre mas cervesas.
el marinero antonio se presento junto con el capitan jorge, muy profesionales los dos.
bien preparados y muy sabios para la pesca desde que llegue y me fui el capitan jorge y su marinero antonio se enfocaron en su trabajo y se pusieron a trabajar de inmediato.
escojimos en lugar que el capitan prefirio pararse y a los 15 minutos despues de aver explicado comos funcionaban las cosas en el mar, un pescado abia mordido el gancho y ya estaba en camino ami parrilla. le conte al capitan jorge que queria agarrar un marlin o algo grande, con calma me conto que era mal dia para pesca de pez grande. entendi y le explique que ay que tratar, y sin dudarlo dos veses me dio la rason , muy profesional se subio a darle pa’delante.

prendi un cigarrito y abri una cervesa, todo super relajado. definitiva mente los 330 dllrs valieron la pena.

We had a great trip with the Rusty Hook crew.  Took taxi from our hotel to Coco Beach for 6 AM start.  We did the six hour trip to make sure we could bottom fish and troll.  My son is 9, but hardcore about fishing and was able to troll for a few hours to catch the Mahi and cuda. 

Boat was solid, better than a lot of the panga’s the locals use.  23’ mako with tower and shade, also had a head up front which comes in handy after a few hours.  We trolled using quality Penn reels and rods, had outrigger and downrigger with ballyhoo as bait, pretty much how you troll anywhere in the Caribbean or gulf.

After we caught a few trolling we anchored up and dropped cut bait for grunts, yellowtail snapper, squirrelfish.  Constant action for my son.  Even caught a remora (shark sucker).

Couldn’t really ask for anything more.  It was great to have two mates plus captain on board to keep the baits fresh.  My son got a little queasy towards the end so probably would do a Dramamine for kids next time.  Would definitely book again.
