Arthur did an excellent job on all fronts. Caught a ton of fish. I’ve used a number of guides through Fishing Broker, all of them great, but he is at the top. Great service, genuinely a nice guy, easy to get to/from, nice boat and equipment. Will definitely be back!

Arthur was a great captain. He got all 3 of us on fish even though the fish were a little hard to find. When it’s 95 in the city, it’s only 85 on the water; great way to beat the heat with a fun and friendly guide.

Being an angler in Manhattan, you don’t expect to do much fishing. Your usually limited to a crowded public park or pulling shopping carts out of the East River. However after discovering Captain Cortez charter, I finally found a way to fish how I want when I want. We had a blast with Arthur the first time so we booked another trip a few days later!  We caught a number of fish and definitely want a rematch with the stripers!  Arthur is knowledgeable and very personable with s great rate!  I definitely recommend booking with him!
