- My passion for fishing started with my dad at the age of 7. For most of my childhood and teenage years, I fished inland lakes competing with my dad. As time passed, the need for a challenge and something new was in the works. I started salmon fishing with a friend. My first ever salmon was a 18 pound king salmon out of East Chicago. From that moment on, I was hooked. I could not get enough or learn fast enough. For the next 5 years, I fished with friends and family, while going to almost every salmon seminar I could find in the area. In 2016 I fished my first tournament and we ended up winning. For the next six years, I fished many tournaments. We were very successful and became known around the southern end of Lake Michigan. In the late spring of 2023 I decided it was time to share my passion and skills with others. The excitement I get from watching others fight the biggest fish of their lives is like no other. I hope to see you on the water soon.
