Had a really nice day woth my grandson on Prime on 22 July 2025. Great crew, superb boat and quality gear. Threw everything at the fish but the kitchen sink.  Trolling seven lines and teasers all day.  Darn fish just weren’t having any of it.  Wasn’t for lack of trying, for sure. Had a great day out trolling onboard Prime. It’s a fantastic boat with the best of kit. I was well looked after by Simon and Alfonso, with good chat and a cracking lunch provided by Simon’s wife. We hooked up to one fish but unfortunately didn’t land it but that is always a possibility when trolling for big fish; it’s never a guarantee. I wouldn’t hesitate to book up with them again next time I’m in Madeira and would recommend them to anyone considering a trip out from Calheta.

We are a family of five visiting from the US with deep sea fishing experience. This was one of the cleanest and well maintained boats we have ever boarded. Captain was great, and mate Alfonso did a great job to ensure our needs were satisfied.  Despite not catching any fish, we truly enjoyed our final day on Madeira together. Lunch was also delicious, hats off to the chef!
