Lake Mead Afternoon Action!

The afternoon bite for largemouth and smallmouth bass has been on fire! As the water warms up later in the day, the bass have been actively feeding, making for some incredible fishing action. We’ve been catching quality bass using finesse techniques and slow presentationss producing consistent bites. Targeting rocky points, submerged structure, and transition areas has been key to success. If you’re looking to get in on the action, now is a great time to hit the water!

Captain Noah did a sensational job on my first visit to Lake Mead! I learned a ton about the Lake, we ran into a TV news reporter, I learned and used Garmin Live Scoping for the first time, and most importantly in December we ran into a huge school of Striper Bass preying on a huge school of Shad that started hitting our Rapala’s almost every cast! Captain Noah is friendly, very professional, and very informed about Lake Mead. My sister and I are completely novice fishermen and our goal was a fun day of adventure on the water. Noah showed us some parts of Lake Mead many people never see, and many locals may not even know about. We each caught a smallmouth bass and learned something about the art of fishing. It was a great day and I will be recommending this trip to all friends visiting Las Vegas.

Yesterday was my wife’s 50 th birthday and what she wanted was to go fishing. We had never fish at Lake Mead before. Captain Noah took us on a short boat ride and got us casting for bass right away. Our fishing trip with Noah was perfect from beginning to end. Noah responded to our questions quickly and was very friendly and helpful. He was awesome with my 12 year nephew, answering all his questions with patience and it was evident he genuinely loved fishing. We also really liked his stance on the conservation of the lake and surrounding environment. If I could give him 10 stars I would.
