- My name is Tyson Roberts, I was born in Oregon, raised in Alaska, and have lived in Washington for the last 25 years. I love the Pacific and Inland Northwest! I learned to fish at an early age, drifting the Kenai river for trout and salmon with my Dad. I was that “one more cast” kid who was never quite ready to call it a day. Like my Dad, I enjoy getting others onto fish – especially for the first time – at least as much as I enjoy catching them myself. Regardless of your experience level I would love to take you fishing!
- Techniques
- I love fly fishing. The ultimate for me, like many, is casting delicate dry flies to rising trout. That said, I also enjoy swinging wet flies and streamers or dredging with nymphs under indicators or on a tight line system. I predominantly fish and prefer moving water, but I also guide the occasional backcountry trip into alpine fisheries that may include still water.
