Captain Mike is equal parts chill/patient/easygoing, generous, knowledgeable and excited about fishing!  It’s clear he loves what he does and that kind of enthusiasm is infectious.  He was really encouraging with my kids (and me), taught them a lot in a really kind way and they couldn’t stop talking about Mike and the trip the whole drive home.  We caught three species:  Coho Salmon, Rainbow Trout and King Salmon (which we threw back).  Mike fileted the Coho and Trout for us to take home... We came from North Carolina looking for a unique fishing experience and the opportunity for my sons to catch some northern fish on their bucket list. Mike did not disappoint. He is knowledgeable, friendly, and well organized. He thought of things we hadn’t considered like getting a fishing license and how to transport them across the boarder. Captain Mike was a great guide. He explained where in the lake we were going and why (water temps, depth, fish species). Our trip was on a beautiful blue sky day. My son was thrilled with the fish he caught…big Trout and Coho. The evening sunset over Toronto was a view worth the trip even if we wouldn’t have caught a thing. 5 Stars for Captain Mike…he was great at getting the lines out, instructing us how to fight the fish, and just good conversation in-between.

Amazing trip. Obviously the best was catching a couple huge fish.  But on top of that, the captain was wonderful - both friendly and insightful.  Organized ahead of time so there were no surprises and effective the day of.  My 13 year old son asked me half way through our excursion to book for next year!

I’ve fished in many countries and have had amazing guides and disappointing ones. Mike is fantastic. His boat is well equipped and immaculate. He was incredibly helpful with my son, helping him land MONSTER king salmon. At one point there were fish hitting 4 RODS AT ONCE!! Awesome trip! Thanks Mike !
