- Background
- I grew up fishing the Saginaw Bay and its tributaries. I remember my dad taking me fishing for Perch, Walleye, Salmon, and many other species that Michigan has to offer on inland lakes, rivers, and the Great Lakes. I lived in very close proximity to the Tittabawassee River as a kid and remember my mom dropping me off on her way to work so I could fish. The Walleye runs were good back then but not near how great they are these days. I was passionate about fishing then and as I grew older, my passion turned into an obsession. Now the Walleye fishing is world class and as a grown man, I am still obsessed with catching and eating these tasty fish. I look forward to every trip I have on the Saginaw Bay. From the sunrises to the sunsets and all the great people I get to meet and fish with, I am truly blessed to have been introduced to fishing by my father at a young age.
- Techniques
- I love trolling small spoons and crank baits at very fast speeds for walleye up to 4 mph. this allows me to cover lots of water in a short period of time while looking for active fish that are willing to bite.
