I know fishing is fishing but, we trolled the same 4 jigs for 6 hours straight. Passed multiple bait balls with feeding fish with no bite. No bait fishing-frozen or live. No effort put forth by the crew to try new gear to entice a bite. Expensive boat ride. I have no problem going out and not catching a fish but I usually expect at least some effort from a charter when they take you out.

As I explained to you before the trip when we are chasing bird piles at fast speed in rough water lures work best and to say I put in no effort really ? I hunted for bird piles in my binos all day chased down multiple piles, took you out 12 miles off shore and spent twice as much fuel to try and get you some nice fish I guess I should have just stayed inside and save my fuel and just catch bait all day

Was lucky enough to catch a 150lb yellowfin tuna and fight it into the boat. Was ecstatic but when getting back to the dock the captain refused to give us even a cut of the fish. Had plenty of excuses and after talking to local friends and getting them involved he gave us a full refund… wasnt what we were looking for but it works. It was certainly a good price for the experience but just sad the way it played out in the end

I am one of the very few charter company’s that will even cut a big tuna and share with my customers which I have done countless times inviting my customers into my home as we cut and eat sashimi together. You left out all the facts that big tunas need to be chilled to bring down there core temperature and I offered to cut the fish the following day after my 8 hour charter not my fault you would be flying home before then.
