We all enjoyed fishing with Captain Max and his assistant, Ralph. Both were patient and helpful, making the experience easy and fun. My wife, who was fishing for the first time, had the help she needed to fully participate. We got to fish in several different locations and caught a variety of fish. While some had to be thrown back, we came home with enough sea trout for dinner. The boat was very clean. Even the musical selections were great!

Max and Ralph provided the perfect charter experience! They arrived exactly on time, and had everything ready to go from the moment we left the dock. They were extremely patient as we learned the differences between saltwater and freshwater fishing, and they made sure to explain everything we needed to know. We were getting bites for our entire 2 hours on the water as they made sure to move us to new spots when the bites stopped coming. Max and Ralph listened to what we wanted to catch and made sure we caught everything on our list before the end of the trip! They even helped get all our catches off the hooks and showed us how to take the best looking photos! Overall, an awesome experience that I would recommend to anyone looking for a quick trip filled with catches!

My husband and I came to Tampa for a long weekend and decided to book a short fishing charter.  Captain Max and his First Mate were great from the moment we got on the boat.  They gave us some history/info about some of the locations as we moved, and we were catching fish as soon as the cast hit the water.  They kept our lines baited and removed fish, so we spent all our time doing the actual fun part - catching fish.  We also had a couple of manatees swim right up to the boat as well as some dolphins.  We caught all kinds of different fish, and Captain Max fileted them for us when we got back to the dock.  If we’re in Tampa again, we will definitely book this again.  It was one of the best parts of our trip.

Thank you to Capt. Max and our 1st mate. Both gentlemen were incredible hosts and showed us a great time. We caught lots of different fish including a shark. I loved how our captain changes spots quickly if a location slows the biting activity. We were constantly catching fish the entire time and we plan on booking with this captain again. What a fantastic birthday this was for my 7 year old. It made his day!

Such a great time with Captain Max and Ralph!!  We caught many different fish on a day when the weather wasnt ideal for fishing.  Learned alot and Max knows every inch of the waters.  We were picked up/dropped of literally off the back steps of our hotel.  We will definitely be going again when we are back in February.
