Went out recently for a 7 hour trip with Captain Caesar and first mates Charlie and Eduardo. On the hunt for sailfish, they took us out within three miles of La Corbetena, then back to El Morro and Marietas Islands. The crew, especially the first mates worked extremely hard, putting out 8 lines, changing the bait frequently, and pretty well throwing everything they had at it, but sadly, to no avail.
In all fairness, it is pretty well the tail end of the Sailfish and Marlin season. We tipped them well nonetheless for a great effort.
The boat, and all their gear was top notch. Shimano reels, great lures, all the electronics you could ask for.
The air conditioned cabin was a god sent as the stern can get hot when you facing east. The cabin was very clean and well stocked. Charlie made us the best Ceviche with one of the Bonito we caught, that I have ever had. Thanks again Charlie.
We will charter this boat again, but maybe do some reef fishing instead.

We chartered a 12 hour offshore trip for Marlin, Sailfish and Dorado. The Captain and 2 deckhands were awesome and spoke good English. The boat was really nice with a good AC and excellent equipment as well as a nice bathroom. The fishing that day was terrible, which was not for a lack of effort on their behalf trying. I don’t know if the fish were just not there, weren’t biting because of the moon phase or what, but we caught ONE fish all day. Luckily it was a nice 140 lb Blue Marlin. We had 6-7 lines in the water all day and tried everything. That being said, I would highly recommend both the crew, the equipment and boat and wouldn’t hesitate to charter them again. There is a reason it’s called fishing and not catching.

Great group of guys to hang with. They were very attentive, considerate, and helpful!  We went for the 8 hour trip to get into the deep water for big fish. Caught two large Sailfish and one Rooster on our way back into the bay.

Obviously, we wish we would’ve caught more fish, but the captain Cesar and the crew, Edgar and Charlie were all incredibly awesome people and attentive to our group of five!!!

Next time we need to go longer, but the fresh ceviche on board from what we caught was out of this world!!!
