When we started out the radio was filled with chatter about “picking” at the fish.  Meaning the bite was slow.  By the end of the trip Captain Weaver was making side bets with the other captains on who will hook up first.  We won of course!  Then Captain Weaver gave the others our secret to success.  I won’t make that public here.  Book a charter with him to find out. Had a great day out w/ Capt Greg and Matt.  The fishing was slow but every boat out at the same time had the same issue.  They put in a ton of work trying to get on the fish and were more disappointed than we were.  Had a ton of fun regardless and would go out with them again the next time in the area.  Definitely recommend a charter with them.

Captain was honest about not alot of bites on the morning trip. Assured us he would do what he could. Captain Greg has is on the fish within minutes of getting out. Matt is a great mate who was very informative about the boat and answered all my questions about the charter business in VA Beach. Hired this charter to take myself and 5 friends out for the afternoon to go fishing. The captain was very open and honest about the current weather and fishing conditions beforehand. He was accommodating when we had a couple members of the group arrive late due to traffic. The boat was clean and in good condition. The first mate was helpful and knowledgeable.  Overall, it was a fun trip and I would recommend it to anyone looking to go fishing around Virginia Beach.
