- Background
- As a youngster, I became passionate about fishing as I fished with my Father, Grandfather, and other family members and friends. Fueled by a competitive spirit and driven to understand the details of how to become a better angler, I am always learning and becoming a better guide and tournament angler. I do not consider Guiding to be as much of a job as I see it being an opportunity to share the Lake Erie experience with others. I look forward to teaching others what I know about the sport and to watching others catching fish and having fun.
- Techniques
- Trolling is the preferred method of fishing. To maximize our catch rate, we will be using in-line planer boards to spread lines and baits throughout the water column. The most up to date Garmin electronics are on-board. This will help us to find fish most efficiently and put our baits in the zone to best increase our odds. We are utilizing Garmin GPS Map Units, Side-Scan sonar (GT-56), 2D Sonar by Airmar (TM-165), and Livescope Sonar Technology (LVS 62 and the High Definition LVS 34 units).
