Achtergrond: I'm a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and lifelong outdoorsman from Thibodaux, Louisiana. Raised on the bayous and mentored by a family of hunters and fishermen, I developed a deep respect for the water early on. What started with solo runs in my 17-foot Sea Chaser chasing red snapper, mangroves, and cobia evolved, over the next 10 years, into a calling to share the incredible resources of the Gulf with others. In 2025 that calling came to life with American Gulf Fishing Charters. I combine professionalism, preparation, and a love of adventure to deliver safe, unforgettable trips off Grand Isle and Port Fourchon. I'm also a Certified Freediver. I enjoy hunting the oil rigs and shipwrecks for snapper and cobia with a speargun. On land, I'm a 4th generation butcher and manager of my family's 135-year-old butcher shop in Thibodaux - Bourgeois Meat Market.
