- Background
- I started fishing when I was a little boy with my grandfather, coming down during the summers to Long Beach. Since 2012, I've been dedicating my time to truly becoming an offshore fisherman. I've been tying my own lures and trying new techniques, which have really paid off for landing larger fish. I like to do all kinds of fishing, bottom fishing, trolling, live baiting. It's just as much fun for me to go Spanish fishing right off the beach as it is to go Wahoo fishing 65 miles into the Gulf Stream.
- Techniques
- I like to explain to people what lures we are using and what bait we have and why. I show them how to tie the knots and how to tie the wire so they can do it themselves when they leave.
