- Captain T's favorite species to target is Mangrove Snapper. They're strong, fast, and tasty! Not to mention smart! Free lining baits next to oil rigs can be tricky to beginners. After a few missed fish, my clients usually get the hang of it and end up having the best time! Another favorite is helping someone catch their first offshore fish. The sensation of feeling the power of these fish shows on their faces and I know for sure I was part of a memory that would last forever.
