Chartered a 8am half day offshore trip for 4 with 8 & 5 yr old grandsons. Received call evening before advising that expected to be too windy in morning for offshore and will probably be inshore trip.  Also, captain Scott had family function to attend and his brother Colby would be taking us out.  We did do inshore and heard Colby mention that he did not have offshore license at that time. Maybe coincidence or maybe reason for not going offshore because it was beautiful morning.  Colby was a great guy, pretty good with grandsons and worked hard to find us the fish. We only ended up with 2 trout and 1 red. We did catch several Jacks and 2 rays but not much for dinner.  After being dropped off we trip talked to another person and his kids that had just finished fishing in same area and they had hit their limit on trout and had a couple of snapper.  I know fishing is fishing but was a disappointing trip.  A minor note the ad says ice box filled with water and Gatorade and all we had was water.  No Gatorade for grandkids.  Oh well live and learn.
