Me and my family had a great time onboard the Lady Kelly with captain Mark and Carson the first mate. They immediately got us on to the fish and they did not stop for the whole trip. We got the opportunity to try out multiple types of fishing and got to see many different species. Captain Mark made sure to communicate with his other charter boat that was running to ensure we were in the best location to catch the most fish and Carson was a top tier first mate ensuring that we land as many fish as possible by quickly getting fish off the hooks, re-baiting, and then getting the line back in the water asap. My family has very different levels of fishing experience from a first timer to someone who has been out on the water as much as possible and the crew did a fantastic job of looking out for us all to ensure everyone had a great experience. Out of the countless charters that I have been on this one will stand out for the rest of my life, hands down the best charter I’ve ever been on.

We brought 4 boys, 2 grandmas, and one great grandma with us. We loved the father/son team on the boat the day of our trip. Carson worked hard keeping lines untangled, bait on hooks, and helping get the fish on the boat. His skills really shined when a dolphin grabbed a fish my Mom was bringing in and swam towards the bow. Carson had to take the pole to the bow and eventually showed back up with the red snapper head - the boys enjoyed that demonstration of nature in action! We would definitely go again! Thanks!

Great boat and crew. Can’t thank Carson enough for his help w our tackle and technique! Tough day as far as it seems we weren’t on the fish we really thought we’d be chasing as this was our 3rd trip of the week and wanted this trip to be about finding some big fish to counter all the redfish, vermillion and mackerel we had been catching all week. The Amberjack was a lot of fun but that was mostly Carson doing the work to get in hook. Not unhappy at all but do wish we had stuck to the plan to find some more of the fish we hadn’t seen. The trigger fish were nice to catch as we hadn’t caught any this week and they were very tasty! Not many big fights on the rods so maybe next time we can find a way or time of year that best suits what we were trying to fish for.

Chartered the Kelly Girl to take my extended family Fishing. There were 11 of us total ranging from my 74 year old mother to my 2 year old granddaughter. 4 generations on the trip. The Captain and first mate were absolutely amazing. Took us out and put us on the fish. Caught our Limit of Red Snapper in just 30 minutes after getting out to the Spot. Lifelong memories were made. Everything you dream of for a family fishing trip.
