We went out with Captain Dane and had a great day. Everyone on the boat caught fish and went over to King Lewey to have lunch and then spent some time snorkeling. We had the option to snorkel at another spot but decided to stay on the island for some more time and then fished in the way back and caught some more fish.

Dane and Daryl were great!!!! I would definitely suggest asking for them when booking. My wife and 12 yr old with us and they were patient and very helpful with all of us. They explained the game plan for the day, and we did everything exactly as they planned. From catching bait, to drift fishing, trolling, deep drops, etc, they were perfect. We caught enough fish to feed our group of 19, and had plenty to spare.

I will definitely use these two in the future!!

Edlin was a great captain. Its was 5 of us, we probably should have booked a bigger boat but we fit okay. He knew all of the spots! This man speaks the language of the sea. He fileted the fish right on our dock and gave us some pointers on bait to use off of our dock. We went snorkeling as well!

One word, the ‘BEST’ placencia can offer. We did deep drop with some brief inner reef between deep drop locations.
Our group had 5 experienced freshwater fishermen. Captain Edlin gave us one goal for the day heading toward the boat, ‘fill the cooler, no worries, have a blast…”  We accomplished all 3 parts, filled the cooler and had a blast, no worries.  We caught all different types of snapper and look alikes, Warsaw grouper, barracuda, greater amberjack, and even an almaco jacks with other snappers too many to mention.  When Captain Edlin isn’t guiding, he is fishing for fun, a genuine sportsman.  He has uncanny ability to find fish, no electronics necessary.  Does not waste time looking, he will get you catching if any catching is possible.  He knows.  I couldn’t figure out how, but he simply knows.  Best Captain we have ever had.  This is not an exaggeration as we have had many throughout the world.  Thank you for a great trip and many delicious meals.  By the way, the barracuda steaks truly surprised us all..simply delicious.

What an awesome place! It was our first time to Belize and did not have a clue who to go out with but we lucked out and booked the right guide. Edlin was an awesome guide who is a die hard fisherman. Told him I wanted to do spinning gear for bonefish, tarpon and maybe get lucky with a permit and we landed all three species for a Grand Slam. The trip exceeded my expectations and I wish I could have gone out for another day.
