An avid angler since childhood, Captain Mark "Beamer" Beam can boast of over 50 years of fishing experience. Beamer got into the hunting / fishing business in 1985, going full-time in '89. Since 2011 he's been spending the winter months and most recently June, and parts of September & October in the Keys and started running charters again. Two winters ago he caught 8 Kings over 50 Lbs., and routinely catches Snappers, Mackerel, Cobia, Trout, Sharks, Etc... & PS: If you try and contact Capt. Beamer with questions or look to book a trip during daylight hours it may be evening before he's able to get back with you, because unless the weather's bad he'll be On The Water and may not have cell or internet service !!! Tight Lines ...

It was a little sporty out back, but we still made it happen ... Caught some very nice Spotted Sea Trout, Lanes, Mangroves, etc., ... & a good time was had by all ... to be continued ...

We had a great experience fishing with Captain Beamer. We were able to land a bunch of lane snappers, a couple of mutton snappers, and even a red grouper. On the previous day, we were inches from hooking up with mahi, but they just weren’t having it! Captain Beamer was very accommodating and went out of his way to ensure that we had a great time. Thanks again, Captain!

Mahi Mayem! After a beautiful 30 minute ride on calm seas, we ended up in the most bluest water I have seen. Captain Mark put us in a front row seat of a fish frenzy! It was chaos for a solid 45 mins-my son and I had several Mahi doubles during the mele. At the end, we had Mahi for the freezer and a memory for a lifetime! Thanks Captain Beamer!

My wife and I decided last minute to take a weekend trip to the Keys, and do some fishing. We saw all the great reviews Capt. Mike Breammer had, so we decided to book with him. Capt Breammer was a very welcoming person, and made our trip fantastic. He knew exactly where to go to get the fish. We had a great time fishing, and getting to know Capt Breammer. We caught over 30 fish and had about a dozen keepers. Highly recommend this charter. We will definitely be back. Thanks again Captain!!... Meer

Captain Beamer was the best! My son and I chartered him and his boat for 6 hrs, we wanted to catch Mahi, he put us right where we needed to be. We caught fish after fish, more than we could keep. After a couple hours in the deep water, he took us to the reef where once again we caught fish after fish. If it weren’t for Captain Beamer’s knowledge of the waters and what bait to fish with, I think our trip would not have been as fun. Thanks for the great trip Captain Beamer. I would recommend... We initially planned to fish on the Atlantic side, but the wind picked up and we decided to change plans. Capt Beamer switched gears to keep us on the water and we headed to the back country. An hour later we were on the flats pulling in fish. I had a great time finishing and will definitely book with BGS South Charters again.
