- Born and raised in Santa Marta, it was only natural that Captain Camilo would know all about fishing. Following in his father and grandfather's footsteps, he fished as a hobby and as a way to provide food for the family. He bought his first boat at age 13, and it wasn't until he was 34 that he turned his passion into a hobby. He still loves the freedom of getting out on the ocean and says there's no thrill like reeling in a monster fish. And he should know: his record is a 500 lb Marlin!

- I love offshore heavy takle trolling. We can never say when a 200 punder yellow fin or a 400 pound marlin will hit the line.
