It was for me the 3rd time to book the tour with GEM Charters. Same as the previous trips, we enjoyed A LOT!! Leaving to the ocean with sunrise, trolling, BBQ on boat, small relaxing time at beach, everything is special. As always, Jennifer and the ship crews are so kind, attentive and professional. Very appreciated, too, that they are always very helpful to our small kids. We do hope to have the next trip very soon and it will be with GEM again.

Just had the most awesome afternoon out on the bay for a fishing trip! The boat was in top-notch condition, and the crew was super friendly and helpful. We had some excellent gear, and they really knew their stuff. The captain, in particular, was a pro. He knew exactly where to find the best fishing spots, and he took us to this area where we landed a ton of mahis. It was like he had a sixth sense for where the big catches were hiding.

What made the trip even more enjoyable was the captain’s excellent English. He didn’t just navigate the waters skillfully; he also made sure to explain everything in detail. From the different types of fish we were likely to encounter to the intricacies of the fishing gear, he had us covered. It added an educational touch to the whole experience, making it not just a fishing trip but also a fascinating lesson in marine life. And hey, we even got to take a detour to Taboga Island, which was an unexpected and delightful bonus. Highly recommend this experience – great boat, great crew, and an all-around fantastic time. Can’t wait to do it again!

Quiero dar las gracias a todo el equipo de GEM charters por hacer de nuestro día de pesca familiar una experiencia inolvidable. Teniendo niños a bordo la tripulación estuvo siempre atento a las necesidades y preguntas de ellos, les enseñaron a pescar y tuvieron la paciencia necesaria para manejar la emoción de nuestros pequeños pescadores primerizos. Además, nos hicieron un ceviche fresco con un yellowfin tuna que capturamos, que estuvo espectacular. Creería que el ceviche más fresco y delicioso que he probado en mi vida. Igualmente el servicio en tierra fue excelente, Eddie nos esperó pacientemente en la marina, nos asistió en todo y además nos asistió en el proceso del booking por el cual tomamos la decisión de tomar el paseo de día entero a Taboga, el cual fue una excelente **hidden content** hermosa, cercana a la ciudad, con excelente pesca en los alrededores y el destino ideal para ir con niños o personas mayores.

Our day with GEM Charters was simply fantastic! From the moment we booked, the GEM team was incredibly helpful, providing all the necessary information and taking care of the logistics, they arranged pickup in our hotel and made everything super easy.

Once we left the port, the captain acted as a knowledgeable tour guide, sharing interesting facts about Panama City and the Panama Canal. We enjoyed stunning views of Panama Bay and the canal before we got down to the main event: fishing. Our luck was in as we managed to reel in some impressive catches, including mahi-mahi, a personal favorite. They skillfully filleted the fish and prepared the freshest mahi-mahi ceviche we’ve ever tasted – a true delight!

After a few hours of fishing, we cruised over to the beautiful Isla Taboga. We had a great time at its beach, which was amazing, and also enjoyed the kayak for a ride around the different beaches.

We’re immensely grateful to GEM Charters for providing a memorable experience for everyone in our group, from the youngest to the oldest. We wholeheartedly recommend this trip.

The Gem Charters team truly worked wonders to accommodate my tight schedule, as I was passing by the city for a short while. They guided me towards the benefits of choosing a late afternoon charter, a departure from my usual early morning trips. The entire experience, from the prompt pickup to the fishing adventure, was flawlessly timed. While I’ve had the pleasure of fishing with various captains over the years, Miguel stood out as truly exceptional. We grooved to some fantastic latin music and landed several catches. It was a day on the water that I’ll remember for a long time, and I couldn’t have asked for a better fishing experience.
