Luis and Shirley worked hard to make our fishing trip amazing! My daughter and I each caught 2 fish. One was a rainbow runner that Luis filleted for us to take back to one of the hotel restaurant chefs to prepare. Best fish I’ve tasted! We had a wonderful time with them!

The captain and first mate were great.  We asked for big fish and they delivered.  All 3 of us caught a sailfish.  In addition they had drinks and snacks available.  My son, his friend and I will always remember this trip. Thanks

We had an incredible experience fishing with Captain Luis and his wonderful wife Shirley out of Playa Flamingo, Costa Rica. Captain Luis is knowledgeable, professional, and clearly passionate about what he does. He changed tactics quickly when he noticed the fish weren’t biting and he got us on the fish. We caught a Pompano, 3 Triggerfish, and 5 red snappers. Highly recommend!

They couldn’t have worked harder to ensure we had a great day. Made all the better catching my first sailfish and us catching the biggest Cubera Snapper I have ever seen.

Can’t fish more than two rods at a time. If the fishing is slow (it was for us), there’s a ton of just sitting around in the sun with nothing really to do. Also keep in mind, there is almost no cover from the sun on this boat besides the T-Top which doesn’t offer much. You can tell the captain cares and takes care of his stuff, we just had a slow day that felt worse because of the sitting around in the sun. I wouldn’t recommend groups larger than 2 take this trip, it can feel cramped.
