- Background
- I am a marine biologist from the University of Norway with a Masters degree in Sharks. I have always loved fishing since I was young. We had a boat on the fjord and I would go out as much as possible. In fact, I was inspired by Hooper in "Jaws" to become a marine biologist. I just feel relaxed on the water and am fascinated by marine life. In 2006 I bought a boat and started charters on the Oslofjord. In 2007 I moved to Costa Rica and my wife and I started Bahia Rica Adventures. We now have 3 boats and run fishing tours as well as other water-based tours.
- Techniques
- I personally love top water action. Casting poppers and stick baits is the best way to see a fish attack an artificial. Jigging is also super fun. We use any technique that the client wants to use: livebait, deadbait, bottom fishing, trolling artificials, trolling deadbaits, popping, jigging or fly fishing
