- Background
- I was raised fishing and working on boats, my dad owned and operated charter boats in NSW. When I was 16, I completed my first commercial skipper ticket (couldn’t use it until I was 18) when I was 17, I came to Cairns and worked on a game boat my dad drove for a season, that made me want to live in Cairns. I came back for each light and heavy tackle season after that, working on various boats, and officially moved here when I was 20. I did a 3-year stint on a remote sport fishing charter company that goes as north as PNG, then I became a skipper and now I run my own charter business! I love fishing, it can be both relaxing and challenging and you never know what the day will bring. I especially love fishing when it comes to other people, catching them their fish of a lifetime or a record. My favorite species is Marlin (Black Marlin particularly)
