We met up with Roberto and headed out. I have fished with him once before for three consecutive days and were on fish the whole time.  Today was more work as we were jigging and caught three reef sharks.  One took the whole tuna that was getting brought in.  We didn’t set out for catching them today but it was the way it worked out.  Roberto and his crew member were very helpful on the jigging process and assisted as needed. 
His knowledge, experience and being a good steward of the waters makes the trip worth every penny. 

What an incredible experience for the family. My son loves fishing, but never went deep sea fishing. His first time going was with Roberto. We researched so many charters in the area and decided on him based on his reviews. Now that we worked with him, I can concur with all these positive experiences.
We were able to catch mahi and tuna. We ended the trip with a sailfish. Almost caught two sailfish at the same time. What an amazing moment. Roberto and his team know what they are doing. So many other charters were out at the same time and had no luck at all. Luckily we couldn’t say the same. I’m truly thankful that we went with our gut on choosing Wearever fishing expeditions. 6 out of 5 stars!! You can tell that Roberto loves what he does.

Unbelievable day fishing with Roberto and Leo, the effort they put in cannot be matched from sailfish tactics to marlin to swordfish and back they were constantly changing tactics to keep the fish coming! A day I will remember forever dreams well and truly come true, exceeded every expectation! Roberto and Leo are both very knowledgable and truly love being out there fishing! They both have great English skills, there was no trouble with communication throughout the booking and they are both great company. I would highly recommend the 8 hour trip to give you the best chance, we ended the trip with 2 sailfish and a big barracuda with plenty of action! Thank you again truly unforgettable do not book with anyone else!!!

Captain (owner) Roberto and Tony his 1st mate were very friendly, talkative (Roberto knows English very well), and knowledgeable of the area and species of fish that you have the chance to catch. Although we didn’t get a bite for a swordfish I know he knew exactly what he was doing and if there was one there we would’ve gotten him. Caught a couple barracuda trolling before we hit the sword spots and had a tuna on but it came unbuttoned. Also had a giant shark take one of our sword baits. All in all it was a good day of fishing that we came home empty handed. Roberto stayed out way longer than I had paid for because that’s how much he loves doing it, and catching them.  If they were caught everytime you went out, they wouldn’t be exciting to catch. I’ll be back to get my sword. Heard the best month is April.

I’ve gone fishing five times now with Roberto over a decade or so.  He consistently exceeded my hopes in catching fish.  Stay away from the diesel burning boats around Playa if you want to catch fish.  Note you don’t sit in a chair waiting for the captain to hand you the rod after he sets the hook. in this style of fishing. You are actively using the gear,  you may lose fish. But you will catch fish.  I have fished all across Mexico, own a boat in Florida, you will not be disappointed, he is renowned for he knowledge
