Rob was pleasant, patient and knowledgeable. My wife and I are beginners when it comes to fishing. We had a really nice day. Ended up with enough fish for the two of us to have a good sized portion for dinner and an extra taste for other family members. Capt cleaned the fish so there was nearly no prep work. We lost count of all the snook.  Also got some trout and red fish for dinner.  He knows this area for sure.

Fun day! Started by targeting Tarpon, but they weren’t eating probably due to the rapid change in weather and barometric pressure. And my skills as a fly fisherman weren’t too great. Next, I fished along docks and banks in the ICW. Some decent activity as the temps rose. Then we hit another stretch that turned out to be very productive! We met Captain Rob at the boat launch in the morning.  Despite the full moon the night before, he was able to put my son and I on some fish.  He also brought us into some very remote locations.  Overall, it was a great trip.

First time out with Capt Rob for me and my adult son.  Rob was was at the same time both patient and funny as he ensured a couple of amateurs had a great experience.  We had a lot of fun landing double digit snook and a few other species during one of the hottest days of the summer so far. Fully recommend Capt Rob for a rewarding angling experience.
