Techniques
My favorite time of the year is in the summer time. There is nothing better than fishing under the Skyway Bridge hooking a Giant Tarpon and watching the explosion as she jumps into the air. We get to do this from early April to the end of August. When I'm not fishing for the silver king, you can find me anchored up on an inshore flat, searching for those big redfish schools that come cruising down that mangrove shoreline. Some of the best snook fishing happens in these back water canals and grass flats along Tampa Bay. Our trips include live bait and artificial. So what do you say, let's go fishing!!!

The start of the new year is very promising for 2024. The bite has been really good and there are good numbers of fish being caught on the inside of the islands. As we approach spring it will only get better as those fish transition from the back waters to the outside flats. There have been some desent numbers of redfish in the mangroves with a bunch of snook to make for some non stop action. Live bait has been key but a cut pinfish soaked on the bottom has been very productive. Book your trips for Spring Time. Lets go fishing 2024.

The fishing on Tampa Bay has been unbelievable this year. We are finding good numbers of redfish on the barrier islands in the back country. The snook action has been really good on the out going tides. It we continue on this warm weather pattern the fishing should remain spectacular throughout the holidays. As the the temps start to fall and the water cools down the fishing in St. Petersburg has been on fire. The inshore bite continues to be strong and the fish are eating gearing up for winter. Snook and Redfish have showed up in good numbers on the flats and inside islands. Look for this hot action to continue all the through fall. What do you say, LETS GO FISHING!!
