Mr. Chris flew in from Chicago wanting to catch some Louisiana Redfish. Well, he got that and more. Fishing a post front, I knew it was going to be tough, and he was thinking the same thing. But each spot we stopped at was producing fish. By the end of the day, Mr. Chris put together a nice mixed bag. 6 redfish, 3 large mouth saltwater bass, 2 channel catfish, 1 blue cat, 1 sheepshead, and a bunch of rat reds. Way to go sir!!! Pleasure having you onboard.

Sometimes, It’s not always about filling the box, but rather just about getting that tug and making memories. Thats just what Ms Kasandra and her husband from California did while celebrating their anniversay in New Orleans. With the New Year upon us, Get’n Hooked Inshore Adventures would like to thank all my clients that helped make 2019 a spectacular year of fishing. Though the temperatures may be a little on the cold side, winter redfishing is still hot!! Along with having the bonus of Large Mouth Bass. Clients have been catching quality Redfish and Bass, and catching decent numbers of them. Redfish in the winter go into their hibernation mode, meaning they get into schools and stay in specific areas. Where there’s Redfish, are also the bass. The bass have acclimated themselves to the saltwater eating the same baits as the Redfish. That’s where I apply my fishing knowledge to locate these schools, and get you on some good hookups. December has proven to be a great month of fishing, and January is looking just as good.
