Have been itching to get out on Pushaw Lake while in the region for vacation and not only was Jim nice enough to accommodate me, but he even picked me up on my dock. Had a great morning crushing large mouth after large mouth while enjoying some amazing scenery. Jim was professional, highly knowledgeable, and great at getting me out of the weeds!

Captain Jim was in the water and ready for us on time. He was patient with my wife who has never fresh water fished and had her reeling up small mouth after small mouth the entire time. Jim was professional, knowledgeable, and had us on fish the whole trip. As a side bonus, we saw multiple pairs of bald eagles which are way bigger up close than you would think. Go Birds!

We had a great time and will definitely book with Jim again when we visit Bangor.

I don’t have enough positive things to say about our experience with Cpt. Jim.  He was great with my young son - patient, attentive, informative and (probably most important) hilarious.  Put us on fish from the jump and it never slowed down.  Worked around the weather and our travel hiccups.  Don’t skip this if you’re in the area, especially if you want to show your kid a good time. 10/10.  No notes.

Jim is a very knowledgeable guide that made the experience a lot of fun! We stayed warm despite the freezing temperatures and wind! Many fish were caught and we are excited to come back and fish with Jim again!
