- "Growing up around the Chesapeake Bay, I was always on the water fishing. For over 20 years I have spent many days on the water fishing." Captain George Trice has always loved everything angling-related! He grew up on the rich waters of Chesapeake Bay, and decided to turn his passion for fishing into a career in 2016, when he got his captain's license. His favorite part of his job is seeing the smiles on his customers' faces, especially if they're brand new anglers who have just caught their first fish! He wants to help his guests create memories that will last forever, and hopes that they'll fall in love with fishing just like he did. In addition to this, Capt. George also loves taking part in tournmanets, and he won various awards. This includes 1st place in the 2016 "Long Beach Point Cobia Tournament," 1st place in the 2016 "Norview Marina Cobia Tournament," and 3rd place in the 2017 "Monarch Cobia Classic." - Techniques
- We prefer chumming for cobia in the earlier parts of the season and sight fishing in the later part of the season. We bottom fish and cast artificial jigs inshore and on the flats.
