My boyfriend and I had a great day fishing with Jamison. He knows the people and waters well due to years of experience.  He threw crab pots while we fished, and we caught our limit of crab quickly. The fishing was slow, so Jamison tried different tactics and locations, which is exactly what a guide should do. It was a great day on the water, I highly recommend going fishing with Jamison.

Took my dad, brother, and nephew out for a full day on the water with Captain Jamison. The weather was not our friend today but being native Oregonian’s we knew what we were in for so we made the best of the intermittent showers. Did more fishing than catching today but that didn’t stop us from having a great time. Since we had to stay in the bay (small craft advisory) we ended up doing some fishing by the rocks and were able to come away with sea bass, ling cod, and a rock fish. Most the stuff was fairly small but they hit the rods hard and were fun to reel in. The captain had us up and running and ready to cast with new bait in no time. We had a great day of crabbing for having to toss pots in the bay nearly limiting out on our three tags. Pulled back in to town and went and grabbed lunch at the Old Oregon Smokehouse which we highly recommend if you like chowder they do a great one. After lunch met up with the captain who had cleaned and cooked our catch. What a great day even with the rain.
